brasscrabs asked: How are your tattoos doing with the pregnancy? You always hear horror stories about women who wind up with distorted tattoos after they have kids and I was wondering if its as bad as people say.

as i’ve grown, my tattoos have grown, specifically the ones on my torso. once i’ve given birth, they’ll more than likely shrink right back to normal. the key is keeping them moisturized (which any pregnant woman should be doing with her belly anyways). honestly, for them to stretch out to where they’d look terrible, i would have to gain a good 100lbs, and i don’t plan on doing that, hahaha.

ps- my boobs are pretty huge, but i think that this photo is deceiving - you can’t really see much of them in this shot. what most people are thinking is my tit, is actually just my side. the bottom of my tattoo closest to my armpit is a swirl, witch make it look like the underpart/shadow of my boob…but it’s not. optical illusion! hahaha

today is my last day working as a professional body piercer at an amazing tattoo shop. it’s been a wonderful seven years, but the time has come for me to hang up my needles. i’m looking forward to focusing all of my time and energy on having a healthy pregnancy and raising an amazing baby boy. i’m nervous, for sure, this is a big change. it’s been a long time since i’ve been unemployed, i hope eventually i can find something i can do online and/or from home to make some money. speaking of which, if any of you fine folk can think of anything, or hear of any blogging gigs that pay, let me know, i’m open to (just about) anything. it’s definitely a bittersweet feeling, but i know i’m making the right decision. life, man.
